OUR HISTORY
A FAMILY
affair
Located on the hills of Mezzavia, overlooking the Gulf of Ajaccio, the Comte Peraldi estate has long been one of the jewels of the Island's wine culture.
Abandoned in 1905 upon John Peraldi's passing, the property was rebuilt in 1965 by Louis, Count de Poix, his grandson. Concerned about producing quality wines, he worked alongside fellow winegrowers for the creation and recognition of the AOC Ajaccio, obtained in 1971.
Then came in 1988, the second generation of wine maker. Guy, Count de Poix, third son of Louis de Poix.
